A top United Nations diplomat held discussions on Somalia elections with the Chairperson of Somalia Non-State Actors (SONSA).
The discussions between Kiki Gbeho, the UN Deputy Special Representative to Somalia, and Osman Moalim, the SONSA Chairperson, took place on January 31.
Gbeho and Moalim met virtually.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss electoral developments in the East African nation.
Currently, Somalia is holding elections for House of the People (Lower House) seats.
There have been concerns about the integrity of the entire electoral process across the length and breadth of the country.
Gbeho and Moalim discussed these concerns during their Monday meeting.
