The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation has refuted reports spreading online that a passenger plane made an emergency landing at Mogadishu’s international airport.
A report by the ministry described the news as nothing but fake.
Earlier on Monday, reports emerged showing that a passenger plane made an emergency landing at the Aden Adde International Airport after its landing gear failed.
Authorities at the airport disputed the reports vehemently.
Their colleagues from the Somali Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA) also denied that such an incident took place.
