The trial of former employees of the Immigration and Naturalization Directorate (IND) kicked off in a Benadir court.
Mohamed Kofi and Abdulkadir Ilmi are to stand trial at the Benadir Regional Court.
Their trial, which kicked off on Thursday, is designed to discover the role they played in theft of $10 million.
The funds disappeared while Kofi and Ilmi were still employees of the immigration department.
