Two former premiers in Somalia have sent their congratulatory messages to the newly appointed Prime Minister.
Ex-Prime Ministers Hassan Ali Khaire and Mohamed Hussein Roble both came out to congratulate Hamza Abdi Barre.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud appointed Barre the country’s new Prime Minister on Wednesday, June 15.
Roble, who now hands over to Barre, was among the first to congratulate the new Prime Minister.
Khaire, the man Roble replaced as Prime Minister, also extended his congratulations.
The two former premiers wished Barre success as he embarks on his role as the 21st Prime Minister of Somalia.
