The two newest members of Somalia’s cabinet have been sworn in.
The swearing in ceremony if the new ministers took place at the Lower House on Wednesday.
Parliamentarians were on hand to witness the swearing in of Mohamed Abdi Maareeye and Abdisalan Abdi Shay.
Maareeye was sworn in as the Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation.
His colleague Dhay was sworn in to start working as the new Minister of Public Works.
This comes a day after Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre appointed them as ministers.
