UNICEF and EU Treat 194,000 Somali Children for Malnutrition

United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has treated 194,000 Somali children who had been diagnosed with malnutrition.

UNICEF revealed this on November 22 when its officials joined those from the European Union’s Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid in visiting a Dollow health center.

The Dollow health center specializes in providing maternal, newborn, and child healthcare services.

UNICEF representatives thanked their colleagues from the EU and other international partners for working together to screen 2.8 million Somali children for malnutrition.
