Abdi Hashi Abdullahi, the Speaker of Somalia’s Senate (Upper House), visited the new Prime Minister in Mogadishu on Thursday night.
During his visit, Speaker Hashi held talks on several pertinent issues with Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble.
The visit took place hours after the House of Representatives endorsed the appointment of Roble as the new Prime Minister.
Since then, Roble has met with several leaders to ask for their support as he prepares to form his government and lead the country towards the upcoming elections.
Roble appreciated Hashi not only for visiting him but also for offering precious advice on many issues affecting the people of Somalia.
