Residents of Waanjele in Afgoye District organized street demonstrations to protest the order by the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) to demolish their houses.
On Friday, August 20 the residents took to the local streets to voice their displeasure at the news.
The residents expressed anger at the decision, which they termed unfair.
Waanjele is in Afgoye, Lower Shabelle.
