The Chinese Ambassador to Somalia has condemned the recent visit by a senior United States government official to Taiwan.
Ambassador Fei Shengchao described Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan as “undiplomatic.”
He also called it a “wrong move.”
Earlier, Beijing had warned Pelosi against proceeding with the planned tour of Taiwan, which China describes as part of its territory.
Ambassador Shengchao was speaking during a media interview with Somalia’s Dalsan TV in Mogadishu on August 4.
Pelosi arrived in Taiwan on August 3.
