The commander of South West State’s Ma’awisley forces, Liban Sheikh Shuieb, has publicly criticized federal lawmakers for not actively supporting efforts to liberate their constituencies from Al-Shabaab militants.
In his remarks to a local media network, he also urged South West State President Abdiaziz Laftagareen to give priority to anti-terror operations, accusing him of neglecting these efforts during his time in office.
