HirShabelle Regional Parliament held its first sitting since electing its new president on November 11.
An overwhelming majority of parliamentarians elected Ali Guudwaale the new President of HirShabelle on Wednesday.
Since then, the legislators were to hold their first sitting.
However, they met on Sunday for the first time.
The legislators discussed wide-ranging issues when they met. Some of the issues they prioritized in their sitting include Constitutional Review and House Standing Order.
