International partners have sent congratulatory messages to Somalia for the reclassification of its airspace to Class A.
Various embassies based in Mogadishu sent their congratulatory messages to the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) on this historic feat on Friday.
They included the embassies of the United States, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Italy.
The embassies singled out Somalia Civil Aviation Authority (SCCA) for praise.
They wished SCCA success as it now strives to ensure that the country runs safe and efficient operations in keeping up with the demands of Class A airspace.
On January 26, exactly a minute past midnight, Somalia’s airspace moved back up to Class A after 30 years.
