Kenya and Somalia Sign Agreement on Aviation

Kenya signed an aviation agreement with Somalia.

Transport ministers from the two East African neighbors held a meeting on Wednesday where they discussed and signed the agreement.

Fardowsa Osman Egal and Kipchumba Murkomen signed the agreement on behalf of Somalia and Kenya respectively.

Egal is the Somali Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation.

Murkomen is the Minister of Roads and Transport in the Kenyan government.

The newly signed agreement allows Somali planes to fly into Kenya. It also strengthens aviation cooperation between both nations.
