A brief ceremony was held in Kismayo to officially swear in the members of the new Jubbaland Independent Board of Borders and Elections.
The oath was administered by Abdishakur Sheikh Mohamed, Chairman of Jubaland’s Supreme Court on Monday.
The event attracted dignitaries such as the regional parliament Speaker Abdi Mohamed Abdirahman and other federal legislators.
This marks a significant step in strengthening electoral processes and governance structures within Jubbaland.
