Somalia’s new Minister of Youth and Sports attended celebrations held to mark World Youth Day.
Mohamed Barre, recently appointed the new youth and sports minister, attended the World Youth Day celebrations on August 12.
The celebrations took place in Mogadishu on Friday night.
He assured the youth and the public at large that the new administration under President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre would prioritize their needs.
