Somalia’s Ministry of Planning, Investment and Economic Development has urged the United Nations to relocate its Somalia operations.
The planning ministry said this vide a press statement that was released on January 30.
In the press statement, the planning ministry said that the security situation in the East African country had improved substantially.
It added that the directive relates to the UN and other international organizations.
Furthermore, the ministry said that all international organizations in the nation have between now and March 31, 2023, to abide by the directive.
The planning ministry said that such a move was justifiable following recent positive gains made against Al-Shabaab and all other Khawarjis.
