Somaliland’s President Muse Bihi Abdi has left the country.
President Bihi travels to Addis Ababa at the official invitation of the Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.
The plane carrying President Bihi left Hargeisa airport on the morning of January 18.
Several senior ministers in President Bihi’s administration form part of his delegation.
These include Dr. Saad Ali Shire, Dr. Isse Kyad, and Dr. Edna Adan.
Dr. Shire is the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Kyad is the Minister of Transport and Road Development, and Dr. Adan is Somaliland’s Ambassador to Ethiopia.
The reason for Bihi’s visit to Ethiopia has not been publicized, yet.
