Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre congratulated the Somali National Army (SNA) on the day that it celebrated its 64th anniversary.
The Prime Minister commended SNA for securing the country’s borders over the years.
SNA came into existence in 1960.
As it celebrated its anniversary on April 12, the Prime Minister reassured SNA forces of the government’s support.
He added that the government would develop a formidable and efficient army that protects Somalia against all threats.
