The Puntland administration has launched the construction of new municipality offices in Garowe.
Ahmed Elmi Karash, the Vice President of Puntland, officiated the ceremony on January 21, 2022.
Vice President Karash laid down the foundation stone at the site where the new Garowe Municipality Headquarters will stand.
The local administration has financed the construction with the support of the United Nations Joint Programme on Local Governance (UN-JPLG).
