Somali National Army (SNA) killed eight Al-Shabaab terrorists in an operation carried out in Galgadud on Monday.
The military officers carried out the offensive in Galcad and Masagaway.
They also shot and killed two senior operatives of the terror group.
SNA personnel confirmed the latest development to members of the media fraternity during a press briefing a few moments ago.
