The federal House of the People (Lower House) is to debate the national budget on Monday, November 28.
Parliamentarians meet for the first reading of the motion on the national budget.
Legislators from the Senate (Upper House) are also expected to attend the debate at the parliament building.
In May 2022, the Council of Cabinet approved Somalia’s budget for the 2022/23 financial year.
The country’s budget for the next financial year is $918.7 million, which is the largest ever in the history of Somalia.
