The President attended the third session of the federal parliament as lawmakers resumed their work from the recent recess.
His speech highlighted the progress made in security and debt relief.
President Mohamud took the opportunity to address parliamentarians on the outcome of the recent National Consultative Council (NCC), which ended last week in Mogadishu.
