President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has received an official invitation to visit Qatar.
The Somali leader received the invitation from His Highness Emir Tamim Bin Hamad on Sunday, August 7.
His Excellency Hassan Bin Hamza delivered the invitation to President Mohamud at the Presidential Palace in Mogadishu.
Hamza is the Qatari Ambassador to Somalia.
President Mohamud conveyed his gratitude to Ambassador Hamza for conveying Emir Hamad’s invitation.
He also expressed his hope that the journey to Qatar would enhance bilateral ties between the two countries.
