Somalia has commended the People’s Republic of China for the continued support it gives the East African nation on health and economic development.
This emerged on September 23 when Dr. Fawziya Abikar Nur held a meeting with Fei Shengchao in Mogadishu.
Dr. Nur is Somalia’s Minister of Health while Shengchao is the Chinese Ambassador to Somalia.
During their meeting, the two leaders discussed issues of mutual importance to their respective countries.
China has made plenty of investments in Somalia.
Dr. Nur and Ambassador Shengchao discussed the current state of healthcare in Somalia.
They also spoke about the COVID-19 situation, response to CPVID-19 vaccines, and continued close cooperation between the two nations.
