Somalia has launched the 3rd Phase of the Mida-Finsom Initiative.
Dr. Maryan Mohamed launched the latest phase of the initiative on May 4.
Dr. Mohamed is the State Minister of Health.
She announced that the initiative has noble goals and objectives.
These include improving the provision of health services to the people of Somalia.
Specifically, it will focus on the health of mothers and children.
It seeks to boost the capacity of local health professionals too.
