Seven Al-Shabaab militants were killed in an operation carried out by Somali National Army (SNA) in Kismayo on Sunday.
Reports from the region indicate that more militants might have lost their lives in the operation.
SNA worked closely with the local community at the location that is around 500kms to the south of Mogadishu, the nation’s capital.
There has been no update regarding the number of terrorists injured or arrested.
