The Speaker of the House of the People was in Barawe on Tuesday to launch the reconstruction of the district’s ancient port.
Speaker Sheikh Mohamed Adan Madobe of the Lower House inaugurated the port’s reconstruction.
He launched it jointly with President Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed Laftagareen of the regional state of Southwest.
