Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre held talks with Iraqi President Abdi-Ladif Jamal Rashid on Tuesday.
The Prime Minister, who is currently in Iraq on an official visit, met with President Rashid at the presidential palace in Baghdad.
Barre started by delivering a message from Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud to the Iraqi President.
Thereafter, Barre and President Rashid discussed wide-ranging issues pertaining to their respective nations.
Some of these included cooperation in security and education sectors.
They agreed to commit their respective nations to be at the forefront of enhancing regional stability and peace.
