Residents of Beledweyne Displaced for the Second Day as Heavy Rains Pound the City

Several residents of Beledweyne have been forced out of their homes as the city experienced the second day of heavy rains.

Authorities confirmed that the city experienced intense rains that caused unimaginable floods in the central Somalia city.

Many of those displaced by the floods had homes in Kutiimbo and Raderka villages.

Reports from the region indicate that more people remain marooned in their villages and homes with no way out as the floods continue unabated.

Those who escaped said that the floods came out of nowhere and gave them no chance to salvage their prized possessions.
