Somali National Army (SNA) forces killed 30 Al-Shabaab terrorists in an operation carried out on Tuesday.
Government troops were in Daru-Na’im, a village in Middle Shabelle, to carry out the operation.
They destroyed a vehicle laden with explosives during the operation while seizing several weapons and ammunition.
The terrorists had attempted to attack the village at dawn.
However, the army repulsed them.
