Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) Commissioner visited Kismayo ahead of the National Humanitarian Forum.
Kismayo, the administrative capital of Jubbaland, hosts the forum that kicks off on Monday, June 5.
Commissioner Mahamuud Moallim was with Ahmed Hassan Omar, the Jubbaland Inkster of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management.
Relief ministers from other regional states around the country joined the two officials.
They visited local camps for internally displaced persons (IDPs) during Sunday’s tour to assess the situation on the ground.
