The Special Envoy for Drought Response visited camps for internally displaced persons (IDPs) in the regional state of Galmudug.
Abdirahman Abdishakur, the Special Envoy for Drought Response in Somalia, visited the IDP camps on August 6.
Specifically, he spent the day at IDP camps on the outskirts of Galmudug’s Adado District.
During his visit, Abdishakur spoke with IDPs at the camps while assessing the effect of the drought on the locals.
