The talks between President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and one of Somalia’s former presidents have been unsuccessful.
Ex-President Sharif Sheikh Ahmed said that his talks with the current Somali President ended without any agreement.
Ahmed and President Mohamud held talks designed for reconciliation after the former leader opposed plans by the current administration to amend the Provisional Constitution.
Ex-President Ahmed added that he held talks with President Mohamud’s delegation in Nairobi when the latter was in the Kenyan capital on a one-day official visit this week.
