Somalia has expressed a desire to improve its ties with Saudi Arabia.
Representatives from both nations met on Monday and signed an agreement that would help them to bolster mutual relations.
Somalia’s Speaker Sheikh Adan Ahmed Nur Madobe signed the agreement with Dr. Abdullahi bin Muhamad Ibrahi Alaa Sheikh in Riyadh.
Speaker Madobe of the House of the People is in Riyadh on an official visit.
Somali and Saudi parliaments agreed to collaborate in policy-making and other areas.
The two nations enjoy cordial relations with Saudi responsible for over 80 percent of Somalia’s livestock exports while employing tons of Somali migrant workers.
