Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) officials visited the Speaker of the House of the People (Lower House) on Friday.
Speaker Sheikh Adan Madobe received the SODMA delegation at the parliamentary building.
They discussed wide-ranging issues including the acceleration of national work and delivery of humanitarian assistance around the country.
The discussions come in the wake of the onset of Gu rains.
SODMA officials informed Speaker Madobe of the threat of floods as the intense rains continue falling in the next few weeks.
