Mogadishu — Somalia has secured 4th place in the prestigious Labbaytum Award, an international recognition granted to countries for exceptional service and support to pilgrims during Hajj and other religious ceremonies.
The announcement was made by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, which commended Somalia for its dedication and organizational efforts in assisting pilgrims. The award highlights Somalia’s growing commitment to ensuring the safety, comfort, and spiritual fulfillment of its Hajj participants.
This recognition places Somalia among the top-performing nations in the 2025 Hajj season and reflects the government’s focus on enhancing religious services and international cooperation in pilgrimage affairs.
